Same Spirit, Same Power, New Season

Hey guys, today I want to encourage you differently. Many of us are navigating significant transitions in life at work, relationships, responsibilities, our bodies, ministry, or family dynamics. I want to remind you that God is present; he sees it all and always wants you to remain prayerful. Remember The Parable of the Unjust Judge. Because the woman consistently approached him seeking justice, he eventually honors her request not to be warned out by her persistence.

And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.  He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’”  And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says.  And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” Luke 18:1-8

Jesus contrasted the unjust judge with God, who is just and faithful. He reminded us that when we pray, we should never lose heart. Prayer is a powerful tool that can bring hope, reassurance, deliverance, and breakthrough even when the enemy tries to deceive us into thinking we’ve already overcome our trials and everything is fine. When, in fact, sometimes, these trials may have been pushed down, but they’re still there, waiting for our attention in prayer. Don’t fall for the enemy's tactics. Be spiritually aggressive, P.U.S.H. Pray Until Something Happens.

Today, I encourage you to pray and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. Ask, 'What's really happening? What am I missing? Please reveal it to me so I can pray about it. Please give me a new strategy for this new season. I don’t want to respond in an old way to the new things you are doing. Please help me to be obedient.

God wants you to be aware of what he’s doing in your life right now. The same spirit that rose Jesus from the dead equips you and sheds light, enabling you to see what’s happening. I pray for you and myself that we’re open to receiving it.
